Jazzmin Maddox-Coleman

Jazzmin Maddox-Coleman, LPC

You’ve been thinking about therapy. Well let's be honest, you’ve had some other things on your mind and those uncomfortable feelings are what are leading you to think about therapy. You might have heard that you have an addictive personality or your addiction(s) get in the way of life. There may be some relationship concerns that are just really bothering you, and you aren’t able to fix them alone.

It can be hard navigating life, when your mind is consumed with things that not everyone else seems to understand. I’m Jazzmin Coleman and I have 7 years of experience in the mental health field. I focus on working with the individual and repairing broken relationships related to the impact of addiction and trauma. I have worked with people who are addicted to substances, sex, and gambling. The good stuff, the uncomfortable conversations with others are easier to have as it is my thing. We create a safe and judgment free zone for you to share and for me to help you get to the places you feel like you need to be. We discover the roots of how addictions began and develop healthy ways for you to manage through the days.

I also work with couples on gaining intimacy, trust, and effective communication.

Are you or your partner feeling dissatisfied with your sex life? Are you anxious about your sexual performance? Is your sex life affecting your relationship and are you desperate to fix it? Or are you feeling disconnected from your partner? I provide a safe and confidential place to talk about these difficult topics. It’s hard to reach out for help, especially in regards to such a highly personal and private topic. Despite it being 2022, there are still a lot of shame-based viewpoints regarding sexuality. Perhaps you feel that you have no one to talk to and aren’t sure how to get help. I help you feel comfortable discussing a highly uncomfortable topic. I welcome you to a therapeutic and non-judgmental space.

I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples.

I have specialized training in trauma and addictions, am a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) and is in the process of becoming a Certified Sex Therapist.

Are you ready to talk about the uncomfortable?
