How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule your first appointment, please call 757-343-6575 Monday - Friday between 9am - 5pm EST. Or you can complete a request for an appointment on our website or by emailing hello@amazingcounseling.org
How long are appointments?
Your first intake appointment will be 60 minutes and individual therapy sessions are 30-50 minutes in length.
Does Amazing Counseling accept insurance?
We accept Optima and Anthem. We are an out of network provider with other insurances, but are more than happy to provide you with a superbill. You may be able to obtain reimbursement from your health insurance provider for counseling services.
How do I pay for my sessions?
We accept credit cards and HSA through our client portal. All payments are due at the time of service.
Does amazing counseling offer virtual sessions/online therapy?
Yes, we use a secured telehealth platform called Simple Practice to conduct virtual sessions. We only provide virtual therapy for clients that reside in the state of Virginia.
