Amazing Counseling is currently looking for several amazing therapists

Amazing Counseling is a community of helping professionals working to demystify the stigma behind mental health while enhancing the mental well being of children, adults, families, and couples in our communities. We are a fun, dynamic, and collaborative group of clinicians who value working collaboratively and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities.  We have an unwavering stance against injustice and inequality. 

It is important that providers at Amazing Counseling align with the mission and values of Amazing Counseling. We are social justice oriented in our practice and inclusive in our work within the community. Our goal is to reduce the barriers that exist when it comes to mental health support and to provide high quality clinical services to all regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability and/or socioeconomic status.

We promote hiring clinicians of varying backgrounds, beliefs, and specialties to better serve the diverse and unique experience of our clients. It’s also important that our office promotes the foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusivity in its culture and practice.

If you can say yes to the following, we’d love to talk:

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy

  • Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of  Virginia (must be fully licensed)

  • Available to hold at least 10 client sessions per week

  • Committed to anti-racist work and are social justice oriented

  • Want to be a part of a positive work community

  • Connected to our values (see above)

Applicants who complete the requirements and match our needs will be contacted for a phone screening before a virtual interview.

*Due to COVID-19, we are conducting virtual interviews. Clinician will be providing telehealth for the foreseeable future.
